The newly completed apartment is home to a retired couple. Responding to a slower pace of life, the design embraces moments of pause and ease, centering on the theme “Si · Flow.” “Si” represents privately held layers of living—an inner order and spiritual repository of collected experiences. Through restrained blank space, precise proportions, and thoughtful display, the space carries taste and emotion, allowing daily life to unfold naturally in low tension. “Flow” refers to the breathing of space, shaped by curved walls, continuous arcades, and layered lighting that soften visual paths and ease structural boundaries.
The original light-colored polished quartz flooring forms a stable horizon. Stone materials ground daily life with calm assurance, while U-shaped glass, metal, and mirrored surfaces layer light like clouds. Through contrasts of weight and lightness and the movement of light and shadow, the space floats effortlessly, creating a serene retirement home.
