About The Entry

Nestled in Chongqing’s Guanyinqiao CBD, a dynamic hub where the city’s historic pulse meets modern commercial prosperity, Guanchen is a landmark collaboration between China Resources Land and Hongkong Land. The project reimagines underutilized elevated pilotis into Guanchen Social Commons, a poetic community hub—a vibrant urban tapestry weaving daily life, fine art, and the city’s future vision into one.

Rooted in Chongqing’s local soul, the design embodies "Absorbing Nature’s Form, Shaping Spatial Intent" through 15 meticulously crafted thematic modules. The "Downstairs Art Gallery" turns daily routines into a cultural journey by etching literary excerpts and classic book pages on exquisite stone surfaces. The "Time Imprints" module honors the site’s heritage with artistic graphics and sculptures, forging a profound dialogue between historic Diance Village and the contemporary skyline, exuding timeless elegance.

Adopting a "multi-dimensional scene quadrant" approach, the design blends high-net-worth living demands with modern refined aesthetics, featuring an innovative "one space, multiple scenarios" concept. The professional piano room doubles as a private practice sanctuary and mini-performance stage, while the shared kitchen fosters social connections through curated culinary experiences. From the "Dream Forest" for children to the "Sunset Library" for seniors, every detail reflects all-age inclusivity, endowing the semi-outdoor space with lasting warmth and a sense of belonging.

Scientific climate optimization adapts to Chongqing’s unique environmental conditions. The "Natural Light Theater" lets shifting shadows dance across the interior, artfully blurring the boundaries between the community and nature. Complemented by native flora like camellia and magnolia, and a sustainable "Spatial Operation Manual", Guanchen transcends a mere building—it is a soulful sanctuary redefining the paradigm of future urban living.
