Drawing inspiration from Gulangyu's historic international community, the design interprets Haipai Eastern aesthetics by fusing Minnan red-brick architecture, Nanyang lattice windows and European colonnades. Integrated with lacquer thread carving and other ICH crafts, as well as over 20 varieties of luxury stones, the complex features exquisite textures. Its "one-axis, multi-courtyard" garden with century-old trees creates an immersive natural experience by the lake.
