About The Entry

Centered on the Fengkai Huangyan Cave Prehistoric Site in Guangdong, the project develops a prehistoric culture-themed scenic area of approximately 2,000 mu, benchmarked against National 5A-class standards. Leveraging the rare 200,000-year Lingnan prehistoric civilization heritage, it moves beyond static sightseeing to deliver immersive prehistoric cultural experiences.

Drawing on Fengkai's identity as the birthplace of Guangfu culture and the Cantonese language, the project crystallizes its theme as "An Epic of 200,000 Years of Human Survival in Lingnan," positioning itself as South China's defining prehistoric cultural landmark. By tracing the origins and evolution of human civilization in the region, it drives local cultural tourism brand growth and broader cultural promotion.

Under the experiential theme "Be a Prehistoric Lingnan Warrior for a Day," the project connects two key zones — Qianceng Peak and Longshan Scenic Area — around the concept of "Prehistoric Tribal Adventure." Two flagship offerings anchor the experience: canyon canyoning and wilderness water trials at Qianceng Peak, and karst cave exploration focused on prehistoric cave civilization at Longshan. Complementary activities — jungle ziplining, canyon sky ladders, and via ferrata — recreate the survival journeys of ancient ancestors. These signature products revitalize regional tourism assets, integrate local agricultural resources, advance the "Hundreds of Counties, Thousands of Towns, and Tens of Thousands of Villages" Initiative, and drive deep integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism in Fengkai.

Moving beyond conventional sightseeing, the project builds a sustainable cultural tourism model encompassing original prehistoric IP, cultural and creative merchandise, and regular immersive themed events — achieving a multi-dimensional win-win across cultural preservation, visitor experience, commercial operation, and rural revitalization.
