上德匯Shang De Hui

The owner of this project is a single female executive in the technology industry with a fast-paced work life. She currently lives with two cats, participates in cycling team activities on holidays, travels abroad, and occasionally hosts friends and family, enjoying a rich private life. Now, having achieved professional success, she has turned to creating an ideal residence for herself.

During the communication of design requirements, beyond the information provided by the owner, the designer further perceived deeper needs. Using this as an entry point, the designer adopted Nordic style and Bauhaus aesthetics to construct a pleasant, comfortable residential space. The designer believes that design is an artistic act of conversing with needs; only by mastering the owner's lifestyle can one produce the most precise work.

The entire project is thus based on gentleness and characterized by functionality. Under the arched ceiling, the boundaries between the social area and other spaces flow, remaining independent yet appearing as a whole. This makes the interior feel like the stable hull of a ship, where the occupant can set aside their worries in a minimalist space, thereby achieving a balance between work, hobbies, and solitude.
