Dawn Window is a sunrise sleep companion that combines gradual light, white noise, and time within a calm, window-inspired form. While many sunrise lamps recreate the sun as a glowing disc or spherical light source, Dawn Window reconsiders the relationship between the user and daybreak. Rather than looking directly at an artificial sun, the user experiences dawn emerging through a small window, inspired by the stillness of watching sunrise above a sea of clouds through an aircraft window.

The fabric-covered light surface creates a softly illuminated view of dawn above the clouds. Light diffuses through the textile to produce a warm, even glow suited to the bedside environment, while the gently curved division across the front abstracts the line formed by a sea of clouds when viewed from above. Across a sequence of Night, First Light, Dawn, and Wake, the light gradually transitions from darkness to a warm sunrise glow, while white noise supports a smoother shift from rest to waking. The digital display is integrated below the illuminated fabric area, keeping the time visible without interrupting the visual calm. Rear acoustic mesh incorporates the speaker into the rounded silhouette, bringing light, sound, and time together as one coherent object.

Dawn Window also simplifies interaction around sleep. Controls used mainly during setup are positioned along the side, separating occasional adjustments from everyday use. A tactile snooze control sits on the top, where it can be located easily by touch in the dark. Once personal preferences are set, the product supports a consistent nightly routine with minimal interaction.

Soft curves, warm neutral colors, light-diffusing fabric, and rear acoustic mesh allow Dawn Window to sit quietly within the bedroom.
