GALBOT S1

GALBOT S1 is a heavy-payload industrial robot designed for flexible and continuous operation in manufacturing and warehousing environments. A key feature is its automatic battery-swapping system, which allows the robot to replace depleted batteries autonomously and supports uninterrupted workflows. Its seven-degree-of-freedom three-finger gripper offers high versatility: the thumb orientation can be adjusted for different grasping tasks, while all three fingers can align in parallel to increase load-bearing capability for heavier objects. The robot’s form is closely integrated with its function. A pan-tilt head creates a clear visual focus while supporting panoramic perception. Angled shoulders, articulated arms, a compact torso, and an omnidirectional mobile base give S1 a distinctive industrial identity. Light gray surfaces, dark structural elements, orange details, and interactive lighting establish a clear visual hierarchy while communicating operational and safety information. For demanding industrial tasks, S1 provides a 50 kg payload capacity, 1050 mm reach, and up to 8 hours of runtime. Three 40-line LiDAR units and a panoramic perception system improve environmental awareness, while four-wheel steering enables agile movement in confined spaces. Its tilted shoulder joints optimize force transmission, delivering greater effective torque with lower drive power. By integrating mobility, perception, manipulation, and autonomous energy management into one platform, S1 can perform bin picking, heavy-load handling, palletizing, and depalletizing. It reduces repetitive physical work and human exposure to hazardous areas, while supporting more flexible manufacturing and warehouse automation. Its multi-task platform and modular charging system also help reduce the need for dedicated equipment at individual workstations.
