Confluence

Confluence is a site-specific public artwork curated and developed by AaRT for ONE SHENZHEN BAY · MANSION. As a continuation of the legacy of One Shenzhen Bay, the work takes “the return of the king” as its central theme, reflecting Parkland Group’s decade-plus exploration of world-class living and its renewed definition of the “No.1 Lifestyle.”

Created by British artist John Atkin, the work draws inspiration from the flowing curves of the bay, translating natural lines into a restrained yet powerful geometric form. Through the ideas of return, convergence, and extension, it symbolizes returning to one’s origins after experiencing the world—and setting out again from there.

Integrated into the arrival sequence of ONE SHENZHEN BAY · MANSION, the work forms a layered spatial experience with water, light, and architecture. Its key value lies in bringing together the natural spirit of Shenzhen Bay, Parkland Group’s brand heritage, and residents’ sense of belonging and identity through an international sculptural language, making art a spiritual landmark of the “No.1 Lifestyle.”
