About The Entry

Designed by WAARCHI STUDIO, Le Fame Shenzhen Headquarters responds to the intertwined demands of brand expression, daily operations, and a decade of intended use, creating a workplace that combines a distinctive brand identity with the comfort and functionality of a creative atelier. Inspired by Le Fame’s classic yet sophisticated character, Shanghai-style culture, and the structural aesthetics of Art Deco, the design reinterprets Shanghai’s distinctive haipai cultural heritage through a contemporary spatial language, extending the brand identity from fashion into spatial scale, order, and detail.

Elements drawn from Shanghai-style culture are distilled, abstracted, and recomposed across architectural interfaces, furniture, and details, creating a continuous visual rhythm across different scales. Traditional shell motifs are freed from literal representation and reshaped through new proportions, materials, and forms, while taking on functional roles within the space. Historical references are thus integrated naturally into a contemporary fashion headquarters, balancing cultural heritage with the brand’s modern sensibility.

Spatial organization is structured around the dual relationship between the outward-facing space and the inward-focused workplace. The outward-facing space—comprising reception, fashion archive, and communal areas—uses a more expressive spatial language to communicate the brand’s identity and aesthetic. In contrast, the inward-focused workplace supports design, development, and sample management through a quieter, more restrained environment that prioritizes comfort and concentration.

Natural light and departmental collaboration further inform the spatial organization, establishing clear and efficient circulation throughout the workplace. At the scale of human use and garment storage, a customized modular furniture system supports document access, storage, and the frequent handling of samples. These strategies establish a headquarters where expression and comfort, order and ease coexist—translating Le Fame’s identity into an adaptable workplace designed for long-term growth.
