### Project Description

The 2026 CIIE Shaanxi Pavilion reimagines the cultural and commercial identity of Shaanxi Province through a contemporary exhibition experience, bringing the historic spirit of Chang'an into dialogue with modern lifestyles and international exchange.

Under the theme "Discover Shaanxi, Experience a New Way of Life," the project transforms regional heritage into an accessible spatial narrative that connects culture, commerce, and everyday life.

Drawing inspiration from the Tang Dynasty, the design adopts the Tang horse as its central visual symbol. Representing the cultural vitality of ancient Chang'an and its connections along the Silk Road, this imagery extends across the pavilion's architectural expression, digital installations, exhibition graphics, and cultural merchandise.

The spatial design translates traditional architectural elements, urban patterns, and the flowing forms of Tang-era attire into contemporary exhibition structures. Layered facades, rhythmic frameworks, illuminated surfaces, and immersive digital imagery establish a distinctive environment that evokes the grandeur of Chang'an while embracing the visual language of a modern international exhibition.

Inside, cultural storytelling is integrated with commercial displays, interactive experiences, and presentations of Shaanxi's distinctive products. Visitors are invited to move beyond observing historical symbols and engage with the region's contemporary creativity, industries, and lifestyles.

By connecting historical imagination with present-day consumer experiences, the pavilion presents Shaanxi as both a cultural destination and an active participant in contemporary global exchange.
