About The Entry
As ATVs become faster and heavier, desert tyres need to carry greater loads while remaining controllable across hard ground, Gobi terrain and loose sand. PULSE XT addresses this by increasing support on soft surfaces while strengthening stability and resistance to damage on harder terrain. The design takes inspiration from the segmented pads of an elephant’s foot, translating their broad support and adaptive contact into a block-based tread structure. This allows the tyre to reduce sinking on loose sand, resist tearing over rocky ground and maintain a stable response as surface conditions change.
Angular tread blocks create a sharp, three-dimensional crown, while deep staggered grooves give the surface a strong directional rhythm. The outer tread rows extend towards the sidewall in two levels, building a layered profile around the tyre. Broad centre blocks give the tread visual weight, while smaller shoulder elements strengthen its sense of direction. The combination of angular blocks, stepped shoulders and deep grooves gives PULSE XT a rugged, highly structured appearance that clearly expresses its off-road character.
Large centre blocks increase the contact area, spreading vehicle weight and helping reduce sinking on loose sand.
Open grooves release mud and sand as the wheel rotates, while tapered tread knobs help loosen packed soil and debris to keep the tread working effectively as conditions change.
The dual-shoulder profile keeps tread in contact near the outer edge during cornering, supporting grip and directional control on loose surfaces.
A reinforced two-layer sidewall stabilises the casing when SSVs travel at speed over rocky and arid terrain, while supporting higher vehicle loads.
