This project is a small-sized residential planning case. Through the designer’s ingenuity, the pattern is broken down and reconstructed in the limited space to play an infinite imagination. From the structure of the original embryo house, the layout of the living room, dining room, kitchen, primary bedroom, dressing room, and study is planned, which perfectly embodies the saying, “Small as it is, the sparrow has all the vital organs.” The curved elements are cleverly used to make the space more spacious for activities, giving the users a relaxing and comfortable time while realizing the owner’s ideal living environment. In the shared living area, a gray color scheme with dark brown is planned to create a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The clean curves and well-placed objects deliver a sense of modern simplicity. In addition, the designers cleverly used iridescent glass partitions, glass tile walls, and window sills around the living room to allow light to travel through the space, presenting a spacious and bright visual experience and excellent lighting conditions. Besides, the ceiling is equipped with hidden air conditioning, and the curved design is reconfigured to minimize the oppressive feeling of low ceilings. The designer utilizes every corner of the space and erects a boom in the ceiling to provide a new option for the owner to exercise at any time. Essentially, the thickened and extended TV wall allows for a larger TV and provides the homeowner with more storage space. Along the curved wall towards the dining room, a gray wall dining table extends from the wall, bringing the minimalist aesthetic to the forefront. A circular-shaped lamp is hung above the dining table, echoing the theme of the space and adding a touch of art. The whole residential space is well decorated and planned by the designer. With the use of curved elements as the spine of the space, the designer cleverly solves the original field restrictions and eliminates the cold and hard feeling of the space.
