Heritage and Roots

The owner grew up in a transitional family. He wants to have room for his parents, children, and worship.
He also wants his parents to feel familiar with the new home hence bringing the original tree and other similar aspects reminiscent of his childhood home.

After understanding the owner’s needs, we preserved the original layout of the first floor of duplex house. The living room with wood furniture and landscape painting represent Taiwanese style. The upper floor has the master bedroom, two different style bedrooms for children, and the worship room. Keeping with the advantage of natural lighting, we installed system furniture and decorated the meaningful tree in the worship room. All in all, these designs are in appreciation for the owner’s family values in not forgetting his roots.
