The Bouncing Bunny

This work is an interactive public seating installation placed in an urban rest area. As inspired the zodiac symbol associated with 2023, the Year of the Rabbit, each unit of this work is designed as a round and cute rabbit disposed in jumping posture. It consists of a few rabbit-shaped art installations, large or small. As the seating combination placed in an urban rest area, this work infuses the atmosphere of the Year of the Rabbit, children’s interest and affinity to boost user preferences and interactivity. The interaction between people and scenes delivers a dreamy, healing and beautiful sense. The color scheme of this public facility is inspired by the pop art. The simple and regular patterns and the bold contrasting color is often perceived as a collision of magic and realistic elements in the same urban space where high buildings and towers are thickly distributed, which in turn gives a quite different experience, makes a sharp contrast, and brings about a lot of fun.
