We select a high-carbon stainless steel core (90Cr14MoV steel core is used, and the hardness of the steel core reaches HRC60±2) and forge it into a 67-layer steel plate through repeated folding and forging thousands of times. This process creates a stronger, corrosion-resistant, and longer-lasting blade. In comparison, Damascus steel exhibits much better corrosion resistance than regular steel after undergoing repeated forging.
The knife's surface displays a bright and clear classical wave pattern due to the high-quality Damascus steel used, which has been folded and forged tens of thousands of times before being ground and polished. Throughout the entire design process, we take 'waves' as a guiding theme. We carefully consider wave patterns when it comes to designing the handle and selecting materials for the handle and the wood block.
