Based on the concept of “enterprise park”, the design team worked to enhance the integrity and ecological functions of the atrium in office buildings. And through the creation of an efficient “3-minute” walking circle, central green lands, small landscapes, riverside views and transition areas, the project has constructed a pleasant environment that provides activity, leisure spaces and garden touring experience.
Technological innovations played an important role in meeting the limited budget. Through the strategies of connecting the metal components in between vertical windows and utilizing metallic coatings in an appropriate color, the project realizes the desired curtain wall effect within the budget. The vertical evacuation system is flexible, which satisfies the requirements for fire safety between the office buildings and plants. The tubular daylighting devices not only save electrical resources but also generate a comfortable light environment.
The design is based on the concept of “enterprise park”. Through the interspersion of transition spaces, it creates small-scale spaces for activities and rest, and a unique garden atmosphere. The tubular daylighting devices introduce natural light into underground spaces, which saves electricity.
The design concept and technological innovation result in the unique charm of the atrium in office buildings. Central green lands, small landscapes and riverside landscapes organically integrate with the architecture, thus creating a pleasant working atmosphere. Transition spaces and small leisure spaces provide the employees with activity and rest venues, which helps strengthen cohesion and a sense of belonging.
