Fusheng armchair

The Fusheng armchair is specially designed for people with the habit of daily meditation. As modern Chinese culture and mindfulness evolve, the spiritual needs of the people are gradually growing. Fusheng armchair is thus manufactured to cater to this need. It features a minimalist design. The whole armchair is composed of a spacious square stool with four thin yet strong legs, a line-shaped armrest, and three arm supports. There is a concentric-circle design in the center of the seat, where you can put a rush cushion. The whole armchair looks very simple yet elegant, presenting a sense of Zen and tranquility. You can sit cross-legged on it comfortably.

The design concept of this armchair is inspired by the relationship and proportions between architectural sites and rivers seen from a bird's-eye view during the architect's planning and design work at their furniture company. Thus the chair arm is minimized into a single line shape. Boasting a minimalist aesthetics, the armchair is created without any traditional Chinese literal elements. Its outer appearance is gentle while embodying strength within.

The armchair is crafted using imported German beech wood that has been certified by FSC. The natural-colored armchair is finished with environmentally-friendly wood wax oil as a surface treatment. The dark version is coated with traditional lacquer, harmonizing with contemporary mainstream home decor styles.

Combining traditional manual joinery techniques with modern CNC machining, the armchair presents both the warmth of craftsmanship and the efficiency and cost advantages of machinery. It also encourages people to embrace a balance between simplicity and excessive embellishment.
