Baoda Panda, a spicy strip brand under Weilong Group, collaborates with Sichuan cuisine masters, dedicated to creating authentic spicy snacks.
Sichuan, the homeland of pandas, has a close cultural connection with its local spicy flavor. Our goal is to combine the image of the panda with this unique snack, creating an appealing and new brand identity.
For packaging, we have vectorized and geometrically stylized the panda, maximizing its presence. This panda, with fiery eyes and holding a big chili pepper, not only highlights the spicy nature of Sichuan flavors but also endows the panda with a charming, food-loving character, thereby enhancing the association between brand and the ip, as well as recognition. Instantly identifiable, the panda serves as a powerful symbol for brand communication. We use a red and white checkerboard pattern as an auxiliary graphic in tandem with the panda, making the product's uniqueness and playfulness immediately apparent.
In terms of color, we've combined the panda's natural black and white with the red that represents spicy strips, and used selective gold foiling to enhance the overall packaging texture. This color scheme is eye-catching without being overwhelming.
We believe this packaging design will earn market recognition and favor for Baoda Panda's spicy strips.
