DEAR MOON

The light show "Dancing of Lights and Shadows" is a event that takes place in Chiayi City Taiwan every year in the month of September. The aim of the event is to attract more visitors to Chiayi city and to share the arts, culture and beauty of the city to everyone. The main philosophy of this event is lights and shadows, we hope to create a strong and conceptual event using creative lighting designs and art installation to capture and draw more peoples attention to Chiayi city.



The name of our project is called Dear Moon, our objective is take each visitor our passenger on space travel, once they enter into Beisianhu Park which is where the event is located. The trip consists of 8 different stops each being a lighting art installation, we hope to promote creativity and expand freedom of thinking connecting people and families in this space. Just like the fantasy and romance behind space travel, we hope Dear Moon can create this gateway and atmosphere to all visitors to participate in. To create a impactful imagery and coherent design for the whole park we decided to adopt 1 single color. Pink was the chosen color, with many symbolism often associated with love, romance and compassion. We felt with the ever changing world these are the strong qualities we would like to share with our visitors.



This latest addition of "Dancing of light and shadows" Dear Moon we had a record breaking attendance, with many media coverage and impressions record on different social medias. Our hopes is for our visitors/passenger traveling through our event to have a ever lasting loving memory.
