The Cenear Bench project draws inspiration from the graceful curves and rich heritage of tea gardens, aiming to blend modern Chinese furniture concepts with a tribute to historical culture. Ancient tea garden curvature is incorporated into the back support design, creating a unique bench that evokes both the past and modernity. Crafted to encourage conversation, the bench features two differently shaped cushions attached to the wooden frame, providing options for individualized seating preferences. This interactive design adds functionality and playfulness, distinguishing it from other seating options and making it ideal for indoor and outdoor settings.



Designed to create a welcoming space for open communication, the bench features a soft cushion seat attached to the wooden frame. Two differently colored shaped cushions allow users to sit comfortably in various postures, transforming the bench into a relaxed and open conversation seating experience. Through surveys and interviews, designers addressed the challenge of harmonizing comfort with cushions of various shapes, resulting in an elegant and contemporary design that appeals to a wide range of users. The incorporation of differently colored cushions enhances stability, harmony, and comfort, providing an interactive feature that enhances the overall user experience.
