One house, two hearts, meals thrice, seasons four.

This project takes dark aesthetics as its main theme. The concept and inspiration stem from the pursuit of mystery, elegance, and attention to detail. Through the use of dark tones, rich textures, and unique decorative elements, it seems to be telling a unique story, reflecting the unique taste and personality of the residents. Carefully selected decorations, artworks and collectibles can also add a personal touch to the space.

Originally designed as a single-story structure, the unique advantage of its high ceilings prompted the addition of a second floor spanning up to 80 square meters, integrating leisure, gaming, living, storage, and domestic services. This compensates for the reduced space on the ground floor due to the addition of a cloakroom, enriching the overall spatial hierarchy. Through the skillful use of light and shadow, dramatic and dynamic spatial effects can be created. Lighting serves not only to illuminate but also as a crucial tool for shaping spatial perception and ambiance.

The design of this project serves as a cultural expression, reflecting and shaping societal aesthetics, values, and lifestyles. Human-centered design encourages diversity and individual expression, contributing to the enrichment and development of local culture and fostering cultural diversity and inclusivity. By integrating various cultural elements into interior design, cross-cultural communication and understanding can be promoted, enhancing the cultural dynamism and innovative capacity of society.

The most significant and outstanding aspect of this project lies in the precise targeting of the initial user profile and the smooth implementation of the design strategy. During the initial phase of engagement, the client's impression didn't conform to the conventional stereotype of a typical international student.Despite being relatively young and having a background in overseas education, the client exuded a remarkable sense of composure and sophistication, which left a deep impression on us.This juxtaposition of understated personality with a keen sense of fashion became the cornerstone of our design approach.

The ultimate alignment of the design scheme with the client's preferences and the seamless execution of the design strategy validated the critical importance of accurately understanding the occupants and executing the design strategy flawlessly.
