Fluidea is an innovative interactive system designed to probe the future of journalism and its profound impact on shaping public worldviews. Inspired by Zygmunt Bauman’s concept of "Liquid Modernity," the project delves into the fluid dynamics of societal changes, examining how the pervasive growth of online media recalibrates public opinion at unprecedented speeds. This installation combines AI, robotics, and data visualization techniques to illustrate the volatility and transformation of individual opinions under the influence of media. By employing facial and voice recognition technologies powered by Raspberry Pi, Fluidea captures and visualizes how news and online information morph public perceptions, portraying the convergence of diverse viewpoints into collective consensus. Through this, Fluidea seeks to question and illuminate the future pathways of the news industry, the effects of digital information on societal views, and the ephemeral nature of public opinion.
