Viva Hair Salon in Las Vegas experienced a change in ownership and was given a second life. It is Vegas culture to freshen up buildings and businesses throughout their life span. Old does not persevere in the eyes of our city, people want to see fresh new spaces. The old rustic salon was transformed into a design inspired by Bohemian and Scandinavian styles. Wood paneling was installed in gorgeous unique patterns and painted in bold neutral tones as accents throughout the space. A metallic copper wall that surrounded the wash stations was replaced with a wonderful black tile that bounces a metallic glimmer as you walk by. Across from the wash station an ingenious, beauty inspired, word search was created and installed to entertain clients. The salon stations were softened by boho inspired preserved florals met with a black wall and highlighted by a custom neon confidently boasting "HELLO GORGEOUS". The room filled with tall mirrored stations reflecting the multiple design pieces from each direction.

The salon also had a functional transformation; oversized and uncomfortable seats at the wash stations were replaced to accommodate a comfortable setting for the stylist and clients. Comfort is found in the waiting lounge by a velvet emerald green couch accented with fur pillows and cognac lounge chairs. Task lighting was reworked to give adequate light to each station. Loud ceiling fixtures were replaced with clean matte black fixtures that make a statement while providing functional light. The logo was reworked to a clean straight line font in a bright white paired with a gorgeous stacked reclaimed wood wall and backdropped by Everglades by Sherwin Williams, a classic shade of green. Concrete epoxy floors created a gorgeous clean setting that also functions as a manageable material. This renovation created a fresh clean, comfortable and functional space for the hair stylist and their clients.
