Sci-Tech Innovation Incubation Park, Wuyi New Area

Located in Wuyi New Area, Toutunhe District, northwest Urumqi, the project occupies a land area of 65,900 square meters. Designed as a modern park-style industrial park, it integrates R&D, offices, commercial facilities, and living spaces. While meeting basic functional requirements, the design team conceives various small-scale courtyards to stimulate the vitality and innovation of enterprises.
By combining diverse small-scale building volumes, the design scheme draws on the narrative of local traditional architectural spaces in Xinjiang. Courtyard combinations form multi-dimensional atrium spaces, complemented by inward-opening glass curtain walls, creating flexible workplaces with appropriately scaled layouts. The "Central Park" is defined by the ring corridor, with structures at the north and south ends serving as a museum and an exhibition hall, offering prime spaces for leisure, socializing, and landscape enjoyment. From ground-level greenery to the roof gardens of office buildings and the green roofs of ring corridors, a multi-level interactive venue is formed, promoting harmonious symbiosis between people and nature. The variations in exterior materials and spatial scales demarcate the industrial themes of different areas, facilitating the distribution and connection of various related industries. This design creates a comfortable industrial atmosphere and enhances the spatial experience for staff and visitors.
In terms of architectural technology, the design scheme incorporates frame structures to meet the flexible and changing functional needs of different workspaces. Additionally, it features large-span, column-free spaces, forming an iconic urban destination that attracts people and provides unique venue conditions for various future activities.
