Located in Guiyang City, southwest China’s Guizhou Province, the YanGo HOMELOOK project covers an area of about 45,800㎡. It is an exploration of the design team towards reconstruction. The project intends to reconstruct landscape and return to landscape in the site through the design mode of "intervention -- permeation -- integration". At the start of the intervention, the design team surveyed the site. To ensure the primary relationship of the site, it adopted the technique of integrating the building and landscape. It makes use of the height difference of the site and the water source to divert water and make a lake, shaping a landscape of waterfall, stream, island and lake, which form a whole with the mountain and forest to reconstruct the ecological circulation system of the site. The design team makes the most of the natural force in shaping the land, integrating the material design into the environment, and drawing on the local black bluestone resources to maximize the preservation of the original language features of the site.
