For every individual, a home is an irreplaceable sanctuary, a place to relax, feel warmth, and find safety. Here, simply glancing around, you may explore the natural color tones of brown and green interwoven in the flooring and walls, subtly releasing the scent of wood behind the beige sofa. It feels like riding on a white cloud, soaring upward through the elegant, curved ceiling. The impeccable interior guides the residents away from the hustle and bustle of the world, offering a serene experience of tranquil times.

This project reformed the original four-bedroom layout by removing the partition wall behind the living room sofa and incorporating the reading niche into the public area. The new layout plan expands the overall space and broadens the visual. Due to removing the partition wall, the design team applied a curved design to embellish the public area’s ceiling and mitigate the heaviness of the central beam above the TV wall. Besides, these rounded shapes signify drifting clouds and deliver soft, floating imagery and layering visuals. The genius adornment eliminates the sense of weight. It echoes the project’s title, “Twilight in the Clouds,” which symbolizes a home where the residents can process the ups and downs in their everyday lives and relax in the elegant, stress-free haven.

The homeowner envisioned a home filled with comfort and a warm ambiance. Thus, the designer selected warm tones of beige and brown, inspired by soil and trees, along with a low-saturation light green. These color palettes are complemented by elegant, pure white that extends from the facade to the ceiling, and they infuse the home with a bright and airy feel and a sense of tranquility. It seems like being surrounded by a vast open landscape beneath a smear of clouds, soothing and pleasing. In addition, the expansive windows allow natural light to flood the space, illuminating the pristine textures of the plastered walls and wooden furniture; the titanium-plated curved trims link different materials with a stunning touch.
