Commercial toilet cleaning is usually physically demanding, with companies facing challenges in recruiting and retaining toilet cleaning crew. Additionally, Singapore’s ageing population have led to an aging workforce that may find it challenging to cope with the physical demands of the job.
To address these challenges faced by the environmental service sector, Fonda Global Engineering developed the Automated Lavatory Cleaning (ALAC) robot 2.0 that is designed to automate the manual toilet bowl cleaning processes, providing companies with an efficient and intelligent cleaning solution.
By leveraging advanced robotics and automation technologies, the ALAC automatically maps the cleaning sequence of each toilet bowl using a 3D fringe scanner by creating a unique algorithm. It then profiles individual toilet bowls and assigns scannable QR codes to track cleaning status and maintenance history. All collected data is stored in a centralised server, enabling data analytics that provide valuable insights and information for optimising and planning of cleaning operations.
The next generation ALAC is also designed to be a more robust, industrial-grade machine that can withstand high-traffic commercial environments while sporting a futuristic aesthetic that is sleek, dynamic and streamlined. This balanced approach seeks to meet practical demands while advancing technological innovation.
With these capabilities, the ALAC enhances cleaning efficiency, ensures consistency in hygiene standards and reduces the reliance on manual labour, making it a game-changer for commercial toilet maintenance.
