The techno-art exhibition “In the Digital Scene” invites artists to explore the intricate relationship between digital technology and natural landscapes. Centered on technological transformation and digital imagery, the exhibition investigates how humans use digital tools to observe and reshape the world, aiming to forge a meaningful reconnection with nature and memory. The exhibition is organized into four themes: "Digitally Altered Nature and Memory," "Algorithm-Constructed Natural Systems," "Technology's Reshaping of Existence and Time," and "Reperception in the Sediment of Memory." Its goal is to spark deep reflection on images, perception, and memory in the digital age.
Advancements in digital technology have inevitably altered our perception and memory of nature. Through works created by artists using digital imagery, sound, and data, the exhibition invites viewers to reexamine their relationship with the world, technology, and nature. It offers a cross-sensory cultural experience that challenges preconceived notions of "reality."
“In the Digital Scene” is not merely an exhibition, but a journey of exploration. The works explore how, under the intertwined influence of technology and nature, humans reinterpret existence, memory, and time. Each piece reveals how the digital world shapes our perception of natural landscapes and prompts us to reflect on whether this reconstruction leads us to become increasingly disoriented.
The exhibition includes themes such as digitally altered natural landscapes and memories, algorithm-constructed natural systems, and technology's reshaping of existence and time. The work “Moonlight Like Water” uses artificial intelligence and video to create a virtual moonlit landscape, allowing viewers to experience the "illusion" of the digital world. “The Spectrum Without Color” reflects on how digitization blurs the boundaries between reality and memory. “In the Seed, There Is a Virtual Tree” employs augmented reality technology to weave local stories into the digital world, exploring how technology rewrites history and memory.
The exhibition also features works that involve programmatic transformations of landscapes and digital sketches created with 3D scanning technology, inviting viewers to reconsider the definition of "real landscapes." It not only examines how technology reshapes our perception of nature but also delves into the transformation of memory and emotions in the digital age.
