Located on the 30th floor of the Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) Headquarters Building, this innovative pavilion offers a comprehensive exhibition space where art, technology, and humanistic care blend seamlessly. It perfectly embodies OCT’s brand positioning as “An Imaginative Creator of Quality Living.” Inspired by the group’s land ethics philosophy, which emphasizes symbiotic coexistence between humanity and nature, the design incorporates abstract representations of mountains, rivers, and urban forms, enhanced by ecological greenery to bridge the indoors with the stunning natural views framed by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. The color palette, dominated by black, white, and gray tones, evokes the understated elegance of raw ceramic bisque, while color accents are thoughtfully introduced to align with the unique theme of each display area. Textured paint on the walls mimics the natural patterns of mountain terrains, while custom-patterned carpets evoke the gentle flow of water alongside these imagined landscapes. The sleek baked enamel finishes on models and structural supports create a striking contrast against the rough-textured walls and the clear expanses of floor-to-ceiling windows, creating an interplay between earthy ruggedness and polished refinement.

The pavilion subtly integrates technological features into individual scenic installations, mitigating the sterile or impersonal feel often associated with modern technology. These display areas are distributed like scattered islands, inviting visitors to explore along a meandering path that feels as natural as flowing clouds or running streams. This intuitive layout ensures no detail is missed, enhancing both the enjoyment and the sense of discovery.

Six VR telescopes are thoughtfully positioned at intervals along the floor-to-ceiling windows, inviting visitors on an immersive journey through the breathtaking panorama of the OCT Headquarters district, where the urban landscape and natural scenery coexist harmoniously. A layered scale model vividly illustrates how the cultural tourism complex has grown from the fertile ground of local culture. Playful yet meaningful, the “Pixelated Landscape Boxes” creatively reinterpret the forms of mountains and rivers, transforming them into a dynamic, ever-evolving visual display. This design not only brings joy but also reflects OCT’s deep respect for the land and nature, alongside its boundless imagination and creative spirit.
