Nature’s Symphony is a residence of large footage high up in a newly-built tall building. Its vast space and windows bring in an abundance of natural light. Accordingly, a natural style is used in the design of its interior and furnishing. In the open-plan lobby, suspended potted plants and handmade wicker artworks pair with wooden ceiling to echo natural scenery outside the windows, creating visual gradations that are bright, neat and full of life.
Elements of nature are also used in the dining area. The seasons are preluded by flowing strokes of modern ink paintings and the rough texture of stone walls. Red flowers make for a finishing touch that serves as a visual pop.
The garden house features a Balinese leisurely, laid-back vibe, with a distinctly elegant Southeast-Asia flavor. It makes the best of Southeast-Asia wooden veneer and floor of collaged tiles, while using rattan weaving and wood carving as its keynote elements. Light is reflected indoors indistinctly. Green vegetation, either suspended or planted in ceramic pots of special shapes, constructs a vivacious living environment together with the furnishing and upholstery inside. In the indoor public section, the ceiling, floor and walls are white-tone, while simple molding décor enriches the walls and ceiling, adding exquisiteness and heightening three-dimensionality. Visual balance is also achieved by means of divided lines, creating a cozy and peaceful ambience. A rustic style is constructed by beige-hue sofas, and an elegant, exotic feel is created due to the earth-tone pillows, rattan woven chairs, carpet and TV cabinet. Light fixtures are specifically selected, using designed lampshades with three-dimensional argyles, sparkling metal lampstands and lamp-holders, so that lustrous yellow light in random arrangement makes for an island vibe rich in cultural undertones.
