The Fresta Chair was born from the desire to create a simple, comfortable object — one that allows for a bit of breathing room, both visually and in use.

Its name comes from the idea of opening space. The backrest, slightly set apart from the seat, forms a small gap — a “fresta” — that lets light and air through, and suggests a pause. A pause in the fast pace of the day, or simply in the gaze.

The exposed wooden structure adds a natural and straightforward feel, contrasting with the soft, subtly textured upholstery. The design starts from basic shapes, but explores small gestures that make the piece lighter, without excess.

Fresta is a chair meant to feel at home — calm and quiet. It doesn’t demand attention, but it doesn’t go unnoticed either. It can sit in a living room, a reading corner, or wherever a moment of rest is needed. Fresta is a piece that invites you in. It’s a project that values the essential and everyday well-being, with a sense of care and gentleness.
