Bucun Comprehensive Leisure and Vacation Resort, Jinan

The project, located in Jinan, Shandong Province, aims to create a comprehensive resort destination integrating diverse business formats. The development includes a ski resort, performing arts center, a cluster of hotels, and a themed commercial street. Upon completion, the project will seamlessly link with the existing Zoological and Botanical Garden, transcending the traditional single sightseeing model. It will innovatively offer five viewing dimensions—pedestrian, vehicular, aerial, water-based, and online metaverse—to deliver a groundbreaking visitor experience.
Design Positioning and Philosophy
Leveraging the existing Zoological and Botanical Garden resources, the project adheres to the guiding principle of "jointly building a community of life between humans and nature." By integrating green, low-carbon practices with smart technology, our goal is to establish the "premier resort destination north of the Yangtze River." To achieve this, we focus on a "three-park integration" approach, forming a "Nature Resort Complex" brand IP. We also introduce the "5N Cultural Tourism Resort New Model": New Entertainment, New Ecology, New Vitality, New Resort, and New Lifestyle, all designed to comprehensively elevate the vacation experience.
Design Zoning and Highlights
The "5N Cultural Tourism Resort New Model" will be applied to the spatial design, adopting a holistic resort perspective to enhance the functions and positioning of the Zoological and Botanical Garden and the resort core area, creating diverse visiting experiences.
Zoological and Botanical Garden:
New Entertainment: Features a Botanical Theme Park and Animal Theme Park, offering immersive natural exploration and entertainment.
New Ecology: Emphasizes eco-education, plant conservation, and nature camps, enhancing ecological education and promoting human-nature coexistence.
Resort Core Area:
New Vitality: Ignites site dynamism through iconic spaces like the Central Celebration Plaza, Central Lake Area, Performing Arts Plaza, and Snow Garden.
New Resort: Provides diverse accommodation and leisure options, including animal-themed hotels, a water park, a themed commercial street, and various other resort hotels.
New Lifestyle: Plans a health and wellness community and a recreational waterfront along the Balou River, offering a high-quality, comfortable leisure environment.
Through the landscape design, the project will become a unique, vibrant, and sustainable resort destination, injecting new impetus into the regional cultural tourism industry.
