Beijing Tsinghua R&D Innovation Centre

The Tsinghua IDI creative centre is located in the old city district of Huairou and used to be the truck factory of Daimler. To maintain the industrial memories, the steel construction, as well as the glass roof and the aluminum panel facade, are retained. The atrium is enriched by overhanging spaces with a large open staircase which will optimize the internal circulation and provide places for communication.
