Throughout the day, as the sunlight's angle changes through the slits of the blinds, the light on the materials changes, creating countless expressions. Before turning the corner, the expanse of light is hidden from view at the entrance hallway. As soon as people walk through the door, the calm, smooth concrete wall captures their attention. From here, a glimpse of the glasses in the wine cabinet in the dining area can be seen, highlighting the relaxed mood and how returning home is like having a drink on vacation. Sunlight is arranged to pass by in orderly layers. The quiet gray texture of the walls, ceiling, and flooring echoes the calm chicken-wing wood that is embellished with a touch of metallic luster. With attention to overall brightness and color gradation, cool and warm indoor materials give the impression of balance. The public domain consisting of the living room and dining room adopts an open-concept plan that focuses on function. In the living room, blinds are featured. When sunlight spills through the blinds at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, people can relax and enjoy the magnificent display of lights and shadows. The combination of sofas and other seating made with comfortable upholstery amplifies the feeling of security and coziness at home. Constructed from a large piece of wood, the TV wall reflects the sleek elegance also coming from other objects with chicken wood texture in the area. The simplicity of the TV wall's inward storage upholds the space's philosophy of minimalism. The character of this space has two sides: aesthetic and technical. On aesthetic side, the designer chooses the color temperature and captures the beauty of the light interacting with the landscape. On the technical side, the design focuses on serenity in the line proportions, and space uses a rational architectural layout in mass planning to create a space distribution with a golden ratio.
Space is regarded as a large container. During the design process, numerous objects are carefully coordinated into the space to achieve a blended balance, and a comfortable look that belongs to home is thus fulfilled.
