Ziyue Mansion Landscape Design

This project is located in the old urban area of Panyu, which is a renovation area. Highlighting the own unique historical memory of Panyu, the landscape design aims to excavate and explore the geological mechanism and humanistic spirit through deconstruction, from natural mountains and rivers to urban living spaces, from concrete to abstract, from deconstruction to reorganization. Through space superposition and dialogue, different spatial experiences are transformed into a charming three-dimensional garden. Through the "folding" of the landscape, the project "refracts" the site's own historical deposits and future value opportunities, turning the site into an urban park community. The entrance with art museum-like texture connects the urban space and the art park, where the space blends into each other to form the dialectic relationship between inside and outside, opening and closing, and people and objects, giving the place vitality and continuity. The inner courtyard is still in the deconstructed morphological context. The neat lines surround the waterscape, tree pond, stepping and decks, creating a more poetic sensory experience in the facade space. The design of the backyard park incorporates natural elements such as glaciers, canyons, streams, and forests into the space to create an adventure park that is entertaining and educational, allowing children to experience nature and play as they want. The technology and cost were strictly controlled in the process of construction to shape the quality landscape with selected various materials. The plant design will create different atmosphere according to the space as well. The high-rise olives were planted by the entrance, which are lush and cover the mountain gate. The graceful Sapium and Jacaranda were selected as waterscape to create an ethereal seclusion. Lingnan culture was added into the children spot with yellow flower Campbell forest and wild ornamental grass. When the early spring coming, there will be full of golden fallen leaves. Children are exploring in the park with joy.
