Stunning soft curve lines are completed in one go within this project; the elements have also highlighted the traffic flow of clinical processes. Unlike traditional clinics, this space is not equipped with tension and pressure, which helps comfort patients. The hidden traffic flows also decrease workload for the employees, allowing them to work efficiently in a relaxed environment. The designer has a profound memory of stomach sickness; the jittery and anxious feeling while waiting for a colonoscopy surgery feels just like yesterday. The owner is a qualified doctor in gastroenterology, and the designer is honored to have the opportunity to gain the owner’s trust and commission for this project; therefore, the designer drew inspiration from their own experience and aimed to create a comfortable and relaxing clinic. The main structure is applied with curved lines to eliminate the rigid and coldness of typical clinics; a medical environment that contains a cozy and calming atmosphere is created. Located on the third floor, the natural lightings of the space are decreased due to the rain shelter designs of the building; hence, the designer used bashings and glasses to create partitions that draw lightings along the walls. At the same time, heat-resistant films are placed on the windows while glass partitions are set up where sunlight will be shining directly. The exquisite thought is to help decrease heat during the daytime while reducing electric lightings and energy consumptions.
