Yulin Culture and Art Center

This case is based on the theme of "nature", and the unique external shape is taken from the local unique landform features of the Red Stone Gorge and the Loess Plateau in Yulin. The clear blue glass comes from the water flowing through the gorge. The strong contrast between hardness and softness, and between reality and virtuality interprets the principle that all things in the natural world coexist in harmony, and hardness and softness are integrated. The interior design is based on the "nature" theme of the original building. Through the extraction of local culture and natural environment elements, and the outlook for the future, it incorporates the design concepts of the "past", the "present" and the "future", and shows local culture in an internationalized form.



The space uses warm tones as the basic color system, extracts the texture of the plateau landform, and makes it wrap the entire space through artistic treatment. The red element of the folk waist drum is applied to the seat fabric cushions and stage ornaments in the Grand Theater. The soft lines are in harmony with the architectural and interior decoration style. The red and yellow complement each other, reflecting the local customs in details.
