To continue the history of the region, the designers through the fish theme with modern design and traditional craftsmanship to create local imagery, which not only connects the local people's inner feelings but also unites the sense of local identity, creating a cultural symbolic work belonging to Mashagou. This aesthetic connection comes from a sense of self-identification and a bright vision of the future of the place. The delicately stacked artistic quality will reveal a vibrant atmosphere of local characteristics and a common persistence to hope for a good harvest so that all local people can see the cohesive power brought by the work and show the charm of the distinctive culture from inside out. With the environment in mind, the design team used compressed bricks that can be recycled to create the entire work. The ceramic bricks with good thermal insulation, high compressive strength, environmentally friendly, biodegradable, resistant to wear, acid and alkali, and weathering are also selected to create the work. In addition, this work was created with the support of the Southwest Coast National Scenic Area, Tourism Bureau, and Tianjun Construction Ltd. All parties worked together to perpetuate cultural values and create a local scene and community imagery. To create a symbolic image for the local community and to establish a new and distinctive look, the design team took the most representative mackerel as the inspiration, and through the traditional technique of early temple decoration - cutting and gluing to finish the work. Gradually, through the delicate and gentle inlay technique, the designers have been able to create a vibrant, fish-filled environment by stacking small ceramic fish with mosaic tiles. In this way, the design team promotes the positive meaning of youth returning to their hometown, recreating the value of their hometown, rebuilding local identity, and passing on local cultural values.
