As the project is located in a relatively humid environment, its designer pays meticulous attention to regulation of humidity indoors. Suspended smart-humidifiers are installed on the ceiling and can be controlled via smartphone. Thus fuzzy, comfy environment can be ensured even after a long time outside. What is worth mentioning is that the homeowners’ favorite style is a combination of different forms, such as French, Mediterranean, and slightly Japanese. It is a great challenge for Light House Design to attain a delicate balance through details, building materials and color scheme, and retain visual harmony in the entire place to meet the homeowner couple’s expectations.

The open-plan kitchen, the outer kitchen and the island come into view upon entering the residence. To highlight distinction of the space, not only is the dining table specifically selected and grille and matching stylish chandelier are outfitted on the ceiling, but is the main wall paved ingeniously with tiles of diverse patterns and gorgeous colors, leaving a deep impression in an instant and also constructing a vivacious, laid-back exotic feel.

For the entire wall of storage cabinetry on the right at the entryway, the designer boldly uses special paint and has the door panels painted by hand. The rough surface makes for a texture of motley and history, contributing to a touch of classical French romanticism. Paired with the unique main wall in the dining-kitchen section, it creates great charm for the residence. Close to the entrance is a mirror that is perfect for grooming and serves to make the space look bigger.

In the entire remodeling process, the designer has used low-Formaldehyde, toxin-free building materials. With precise time calculation, trace organic matter could fully volatized. Not until measuring instrument was later used to ensure that the environment is absolutely safe were the home-owning family informed that it was OK to move in.
